Peanut Butter Birth was founded in 2024 from a shared belief that all pregnant people deserved compassionate, high-quality support throughout their pregnancy journey. What began as two friends’ mutual passion for birth grew into a collaborative doula practice providing evidence-based care to families all over the Metro Richmond Area.

We proudly support birth center, hospital, and homebirths, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, first time parents and seasoned pros. Our approach is rooted in inclusivity, informed consent, bodily autonomy, and the fundamental belief that every family deserves to feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor and birth, and the postpartum period.
